View Full Version : DivX Ultra Certified player - really necessary?

I'd like to buy a DVD player that can handle DivX films. I already have a good DVD player but it is about 18 months old and cannot play them.

Because of this I don't want to have to spend too much on it, as I will only need it for DivX. Problem is, a lot of the films I watch have more than one language and or subtitles (multi-lingual family). Do I have to buy an Ultra Certified Player in order to be able to switch between languages, or will any normal player do?

TIA

Usually, a normal player can do what you want.
