DVI connection

How do i change the setting on my pc so i can use both my monitor and my TV to do seperate activites. e.g. watching a movie on my TV via the DVD rom and using the internet on the monitor. The connection im using is dvi cable. Please help.

That doesnt tell us much. What kind of graphics card are you using? If its a good nVidia / ATI powered one chances are good that you'll just have to enable the output and configure it properly and you're good to go.
