Could you please tell me how to make a music track to be a background music of another audio file (.wav, or .mp3) (something likes merging the two tracks into 1 file). Namely, let's say i have an audio file that is reading a News for example, and i want to add a background music into the file so that that audiences are able to hear the both voices ... I'm using the LAME engine. I appriciate all your help ...
Please send me your suggestions to duyngv@us.ibm.com if it's possible ...
Thanks.

Hi!

"Audacity" (freeware) and likely most audio editors should meet your needs: Audacity is an Open Source, free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder. You can use Audacity to: Record live audio, Convert tapes and records into digital recordings or CDs, Edit Ogg Vorbis, MP3, and WAV sound files. Cut, copy, splice, and mix sounds together, Change the speed or pitch of a recording, Remove static, hiss, hum, or other constant background noises. Import sound files, edit them, and combine them with other files or new recordings. Export your recordings in several common file formats. And more!
