Hey guys I'm having trouble working with video that contain vorbis audio. I am able to load the video in Vdubmod and I can do direct stream copy edits to the audio. But whenever I try to do full processing edits, I end up with a video without audio. I am able to load the file with audio in avisynth. I've tried using Radlight Vorbis codec, Directshow OGG filter and ffdshow, none of them worked.
I had problem working with OGG with besweet also, but I was able to fix that by using libvorbis.dll and libmmd.dll.
If anyone have advice for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Because you need a ogg vorbis acm, not directshow decoder.
Its not recommended to use ogg vorbis(acm) with avi container format, because it will cause jerky video playback or a/v desycn.

are you trying to mux vorbis to avi?

no i'm not trying to mux vorbis in to .avi
i'm just trying to convert vorbis into another format while working on the video in vdub. i don't mind the quality loss here, so any audio quality lost during the conversion is fine.
@Yong: I've tried OGG Vorbis ACM, but vdub still will not allow audio convertion from vorbis. Do i need to set vdub to use the ACM manually? if so, how do i do so?

virtualdub uses old vfw interface, afaik it doesnt handle vorbis decoding/encoding

Well I'm actually using Vdubmod, if that makes a difference.
Anyways if that's the case, I'll just take a few extra steps.
Thanks for the reply

@iiiemuiii:
Im not sure about your problem :p
you have too tell us, vdub give you what message when youre trying to process ogg vorbis?
im curious, what is the source container format?
@bond:
vdub will be able to handle ogg vorbis if acm is installed, am i right?

vdubmod does not give me any error message or warning, it just goes ahead like any other compatible audio format. The file is encoded with Xvid/Vorbis muxed in .ogm
when i try to do a direct stream copy on the video and converting the audio to another format(mp3, wav), i end up with an audioless file.
however when i direct stream copy both the video and audio(using .mkv container), it works fine.

as i said dont use virtualdub or virtualdubmod for reencoding vorbis, vfw is simply outdated and cant handle it right
