Hello

When I check the movie with dgmpgdec it's show PAL 25 interlace, but I can't notice interlace in the movie.

I'm try to recode it with DVD-RB, and the avs script includes the deinterlace option, and converts to YUY12 .

How can I recode it forcing DVD-RB not to deinterlace and convert to YUY12.

P.S. - I read that CCE 2.70 can work directly with YV12.

Thanks

Make sure "Deinterlace with Decomb" is unchecked.

HC and QuEnc are YV12.

I can assure you, though, that it is not "wrong detection" -- if DVD-RB tells you it is interlaced it is because the flags in the input stream is marked as interlaced.

Trying to determine whether a stream is interlaced or progressive by "looking" is really risky. I've have been told that there are a lot of PAL streams that are flagged as interlaced but are really progressive. But.... you have to be very careful... a progressive stream marked as interlaced will play back fine, but if you mistakenly force an interlaced stream to progressive -- it will look like dogsh*t.

Well... I can say that more than 50% of the DVDs I own are flagged as Interlaced :)
