Hey, I have a RMVB file (real media - Variable Bitrate) that I need to convert into a DVD compliant file, pref M2V + Ac3/Wav but a Mpeg would be satisfactury. I own Canopus Procoder but that won't do it, neither will TMPGEnc.

Does anyone know what program I could use to do this?

Have you tried SUPER?
Get it here: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
It's free :)

Install the DirectShow Filter of real media (like real alternative), and TMPGEnc would encode rmvb to MPEG2

The most important software for this is RealMediaSplitter.
Install RealPlayer and this you will be able to load rmvb files in Tmpgenc

That Super software didn't work and I'm not a fan of AviSynth so didn't try that method (as found on Videohelp)
