Ripping subtitles

How do i rip subtitles in bitmap format from a dvd for import into Adobe Encore? Is this possible with Subrip and how do i do it.

You'll have to give more details on what formats does Adobe Encore accept if you want people to answer you. SubRip does save several bitmap-based formats, but I can't tell if any of them are supported.

Subrip does not support bitmap for Encore DVD, only text scripts.
Any one knows a solution?
