Subtitles...

I use Subrip, but with the latest movies I´ve included the subtitles directly in the rip. But I don´t like that the subtitles are placed in "the movie", but that´s the fact when you crop the movie. But what if I dont crop the black border under the movie(if i only crop the top-black border), will the subtitles then be down there?

i recommend to create media player compatible subs (*.smi). then get divxg400 ( http://www.tac.ee/~prr/videoutils/ ). with this tool you are able to place the subs under the movie within the black bars.

Or in latest DVobSub you can use Override placement and have the subs placed where you want them to be in the Filters property sheet.

Leaving the bottom uncropped is not a good idea.
U can use BSPlayer wich lets u manually put the subs where u want them.
