View Full Version : autogk included progs updates manually (non official updates)

hello len0x,
is it ok to update virtualdubmod or the other programs in this package by my own? so everytime there is an update of these progs, i want to extract them to the autogk folder, but i donīt know if there will be some problems with your prog.

ok, but why comes the autogk update 2.27 not with this application updates? 2.27 still use the same virtualdubmod 1.5.4 as 2.26 and not the version 1.5.10. Is there a reason?

Some users, myself included, have had problems with the newer version of VDubMod.
This thread might provide a reason why it hasn't been updated.

Answer is yes.

indeed, apart from the fact that the actual answer is NO :)
(as in: if you know what you're doing you wouldn't be asking, and if you're not - you'd better off not touching anything unless something is not working at all anymore).

I have tried updating every single piece of bundled software in there by myself and nothing broke in my tests. But yes, if it isn't done properly, it could get screwed up.
