Audio length problem, help!

I want to interleave mp3 audio stream and dx50 video stream to an avi file. I know the fps of video stream and smaple rate and bit rate fo mp3, but I don't know how to determine audio length at a video frame duration to achieve audio/video sync. Can anybody tell me?

Have you tried simply loading your silent .AVI into VirtualDubMOD and then loading the .MP3 file?

Thanks for your reply. I know how to interleave divx video and mp3 stream into .avi file using VirtualDubMOD. I care the algorithm.
