Hey,
When I add subtitles to a DVD I first convert it to a M2V file using DVD Decrypter and the check the subtitle sync with Media Player Classic.
But now.. I formated my pc and when I load the M2V into Media Player Classic it plays only 54:06 out of a 2 hour movie.
So I can only check the sync until the 54th minute..

Any suggestions.. ? or may a recommendation for a different software (although i'm pretty sure it's a codec problem)

Thanks.

mux it into an mpg or mkv container, to get proper timing being read.

i don't understand the need to convert to m2v. you can actually test the subtitles sync by loading the VOB files(from DVD) directly into subtitle tools like subtitle workshop. So, just rip the DVD to vob or mpg and load it into subtitle workshop.(You can get it here http://www.urusoft.net/downloads.php?lang=1)

if you're tired of ripping once again, put the already available m2v file in a container like mpg or vob and then try out the same using subtitle workshop for better results for the entire 2hrs. of the movie.

yes it is a codec problem i have it long time ago (somthing in ligos or mainconcept decoder IIRC) just use the builtin decoder of MPC.
