View Full Version : deen() before or after resizing?

i am encoding some videos (anime) an i am resizing them and using deen. should deen go after all of the resizing or before? does it matter? for future references should any other filter always go before or after resizing? thanks for your help.

I don't think it really matters a whole lot. I usually put it after. If you use a sharp resizer like Lanczos, it would probably be better, theoretically, to use deen first, since the resize can slightly sharpen things, including the noise thats present in the video.
