I have a DVD which I wanted to back up in DivX format. My wife isn't a native English speaker so the vob file had two languages plus the corresponding subtitles.
I used DivX to convert, no problem there, the file is fine and contains both languages. But when I go to activate the subtitles they come up on a black screen in front of the film and block the picture. Viewing the vob file was no problem. Also, only the main language is available in Media Player or BS Player, I can't switch, if I want to listen in the secondary language I can only use DivX player.
So, pray tell, where did I screw up?
