NeroDigital MP4 to AVI

Admins sorry if i have to post this in New A/V Codecs.

I encode some clips with NeroDigital ASP and i woder how to convert this to AVI. AVI is need to me beacouse i have to implement to some project where i can use mp4/mkv.

I try with Yamb and extract to raw stream i got some .cmp file. Audio is mp4 but there is no porblem beacouse i maybe convert this to mp3 and aslo AviMux gui can handle this.

Can i use NeroDigital AVC and then export to raw and then with AVC2AVI convert to avi.

I dont know what version of YAMB you have but as far as I'm aware there has always been the option to extract MPEG-4 SP/ASP video in MP4 to AVI

Any try to convert NeroDigital AVC to an AVI having ASP video and MP3 audio?

Can anyone tell me if NeroAVC is vfw? I think it is, because when I run the mp4 through avisynth and into windows media player, the audio is all out of sync with the video. Plus, the properties of the mp4 say 23.98, even though it should be NTSC. What filters do I need to add to my script to adjust for vfw?

I extracted Nero AVC video to AVI using the most recent version of YAMB. Everytime I navigate to the folder where the avi was put (whether in VDub, Explorer, WMP, etc) the program crashes. Something was wrong with that avi file and I had to delete it via DOS to be able to navigate to that directory.

AVC will not work with YAMB extraction. You must extract a raw stream and use avc2avi.

You can however, use YAMB to extract MPEG-4 AVC in .MP4 to an raw .h264 stream. And then AVC2AVI to mux the raw .h264 stream into .AVI ;)

if yes, you need to reencode the avc stream to asp, simply remuxing avc from mp4 to avi doesnt make your player support it

23.98 is propably 23.976 rounded up, which is fine for ntsc
