I want to use an image for highlighting the buttons. I mean an image for normal state of button, a different one for selected state an one more for activated state. I use dvdlab and I'm reading pdf help file for 1 week. But couldn't understand which tool should i use (switched menu, subpicture, button visibility...?) I'm sure you'll understand what i want, in the picture below

If I interpret your picture correctly:
1. Play, Set Up and Scene Selection are always visible -> write it on the background image.
2. The "hand" highlight is only visible at selected button -> choose "invisible normal" in DVDLab.
3. You cannot have a different highlight picture in activated state, only a different color.
You can import the "hand" picture as image into DVDLab and then place it to the menu.
The disadvantage is that your highlight normally has only one color.
Since your "hand" picture seems to have black and white, you can read about this issue here:

But your "hand" picture is even more complex than the soccer ball in the thread above, so it will be very difficult, but not impossible.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply goonix, but my dvdlab couldn't open your file (unexpected file format error). It's very interesting. Nobody knows the answer about my problem. It's very commom on dvds but very hard to make in dvdlab. I've asked many people and they've told about switched menus, combo buttons, button visibilites but i couldn't find the correct way. If you send it again i can study on it. I think it's about my problem.
