Is there any software which is easy and functional like Subtitle Translator (http://www.mironto.sk) - start and end time of subtitle is set with key press - and which can play dvds, so that is possible to manually synchronize external subtitles (in subrip or microdvd format or similar) with dvd ?

Lets say that dvd has no subtitles on it, so you can rip them. Which is the best way to create subtitles in this case, so that are synchronized with movie?

My way to do this:
1) Make 1 file out of all the vobs U have (many progs can do this)
2) Use SW
Be aware! It takes a lot of time.........

Hi,

well, i came to that idea too, but I have old computer with small hard drive and slow cpu, so it isn't very practical. For know I'm satisfied with SubtitleCreator. It does good job, not perfect though, but it'll do.

subtitle workshop is nice to translate subtitles with a split view (two languages) and supports almost every formats (import/export).
