i have a diamond fireport 40 scsi card. this card has been great all these years. it even works good in win2k. microsoft though has thoughtfully stopped support for it in win xp however. anyone out have an idea of how i can get it working in win xp? i heard of someone hacking a driver to make it supported but i can't find it anywhere.
just upgraded from a p2 400mhz 256pc100 to a athlon xp 1800+ 512pc2400. my god i'm flying around windows!

The same thing with my Tekram 390U SCSI card.
When i install the w2k drivers, by the next restart xp brings my a 'blue death'.
But xp have a 'standard' driver, called LSI Logic 53C875/53C876 for my lovely SCSI card. It work for me perfectly (i'm running xp for 2 weeks ago)
So you would check for a 'standard' driver, or wait for the manufacturer to release a new for xp.
Good luck!
