Hi all,

I try to process my video with the latest VirtualDub 1.6.12, but when I try to save it as DivX, it gives me the following error:

"Video compression error. The source image format is not acceptable"

If I disable "Do not prompt with errors and warnings" inside DivX's config, The error transforms to:

"Invalid width, please check your crop settings"

Here are some notes:

1. The video is captured with the native PAL resolution, ie 768 X 576. If I try to capture it with at 720 X 576 resolution, no problem occurs!

2. DivX appears to have the following limitations:

Width must be a multiple of 4
Height must be a multiple of 2

Isn't it obvious that 768 is a multiple of 4, and 576 is a multiple of 2?

Any help would be mostly appreciated.
