Prob w/ Haali Media Splitter and NeroVision Express 3.1.0.16

After installing Haali Media Splitter now when I create standard DVD-Video with NeroVision Express 3.1.0.16 from AVI's, MP4's and MKV's the latter calls in the former (two instances actually, I assume one for the preview) and hasn't been able to complete a single DVD5 job so far, always freezes at some point :( .

Also, if I perform the transcoding with another app and feed NVE the already DVD-Video compliant MPG's (which any other tool accepts as such) just to do the authoring part, the Ahead product transcodes them anyway :confused: .

Can anyone gimme a hand here please?

Okay, I haven't been able to find any solution and/or workaround except the removal of Haali Media Splitter, something which inconveniences me even more, so can anybody please suggest a decent, and maybe free too, WYSIWYG DVD-Video menu editor which enables you to add background music too please?

Another option would be letting NVE create the menus and then edit the DVD contents with another app, what can be used please?
