Converted MOV to dvd but no sound

I am trying to convert a MOV file so it can be burnt on to DVD.

I have been using winavi video converter. I’ve had some success with this program, but the last file I tried to convert come out with no sound.

Has anyone got any ideas why this might be?

What audio format did you use when you created the .MOV?
