I've searched the forum for a definitive answer to this to no avail, so I figured I'd go ahead and ask: are there any PC software decoders that can take advantage of DTS 96/24? I've tested ffdshow, Dscaler, and AC3filter, but they only manage 16-bit 48khz. Oh, I even tossed on my old PowerDVD decoders (blech) which trumpet unspecified '96/24 support,' but it didn't render the extended sampling rate either. So... any solutions? I've got a few DVD-As with DTS 96/24 tracks, and I've got a fancy new Creative X-Fi, so it'd be real nice if I could playback my ripped DTS tracks at full resolution.

I think PowerDVD requires u to buy a license for DTS 96/24 support. If the support is activated, u`ll see the DTS 96/24 icon on the video window.
But if u have an X-Fi, just send the audio through SPDIF and let the soundboard decode it.

Are you sure the X-Fi's decoders support DTS 96/24? I checked Creative's site, and it didn't seem to mention it either way. If it does, then, well, that'd be perfect.

I think DTS 96/24 is supported (DTS-ES both Matrix and Discrete are).
