View Full Version : How do I convert VOB's to DVD

I used DVDDecryptor in IFO mode to create VOB files from a DVD instead of creating an ISO (DUH on my part). My question is this, how can I convert all those VOB files (menus included if possible) into something workable to create a burnable DVD? Thanks.

Hi!

If you also have NERO, set it to "DVD-Video" mode and simply "drag and drop" ALL of the files from the DVD "package" on your hard drive (.IFOs, .BUPs, and .VOBs) into the RED "VIDEO_TS" folder - and burn.

If the size of the DVD "package" is too big to fit on a DVD-5 (4.37Gb), load it into DVD Shrink and compress it...

DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode doesn't decrypt any menus. You'll need File Mode for that. And you might try reading a guide or 2. That's what they're for:

Which RED VIDEO_TS folder? Do you mean the 'Content' window of Nero Vision?

It gives a choice of treating all the VOBs as a single unit, or separate ones. I opted for single unit (5 VOBs in all).

While importing the VOBs, it gave an error at about 48% into the first VOB:

"The disk is full. Error importing video segment. File cannot be inserted."

The drive where I have Nero (C drive) has 3.60 GB free - is that why? (The drive where the VOBs are, has 19.3 GB free.)

Regards.

If your situation is different, you should be starting a new thread, rather than "piggybacking" on this one, as this causes confusion...

Sorry for causing confusion. Yes, I do have a set of files (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=794672#post794672) I have decrypted from my Mackenna's Gold. I'd like to learn the ways and means of Home DVD Making. And I have Nero 7 Premium Edition which has a number of programs.

But, again, I apologize. Not another word.

Regards.
