Hi, whitch codec should i use to get the video ready for divx encoding?

Only DivX Pro 6.11, or Xvid 1.1 Final. It's your choice.

Hi Kostarum Rex Persia, i'v been using xvide 1.1. the problem i'm having is when i use xvid's codec the calc say to put in (k)bytes and i put this many for mb 140 and what's the differance between what they say and the mb's i am suppost to put in?

1 mb = 1024 kbytes


other options =
FourCC used = DIVX

are you encoding for hardware players?
check for the DIVX profile supported
adjust the settings of XVID until it matches the profile requirements
