I've been using Maestro for a bit, and as I go along I wonder what else is out there. A great great program, but dead, There's realtime preview being flaky, flakier performance in XP than 2000, some strange workarounds and problems with higher resolutions, dual processors and hyperthreading are major downsides. has anyone moved on? What is the next logical step from this program that is more currently compatible with modern setups? Besides Apple/DVDSP obviously. Also Scenarist is still just a little too low-level for me, I honestly just don't care to understand the ins and outs of PGCs.

In terms of the GUI, DVDlab Pro is probably the most similar, I think.

Also you could give a chance to Sonic DVD Producer but it's quite different from Maestro.
