hi, i'd like to pop several autogk/xvid encodes on a dvd and play them in a stand alone divx type compatible player (not purchased yet).

Do you need a special program to author it, i.e. to access the seperate films or can you just make an iso data disc and the player produce a list of playable films?

Are there any players that handle autogk xvid encodes ok? (not sure what video profile it uses, think its quite simple since it plays on my portable zodiac fine and the res = 480*272. The audio is abr mp3.

Thanks

Neil

No special programs needed... just burn your movies to the disc and your stand alone will display the contents of the disc after it's inserted. You'll highlight the file/movie you want to play and hit ok. That's it.

As far as what stand alones play what xvids(and with what supported features)... that depends more on the chipset of the stand alone. (ie. mediatek, etc..)

Good luck.

Hi!

You may encounter difficulty playing XviDs that have been encoded using QPEL and some other "extra" settings...
