How to attach subtitle on mp4 file

I tried the Yamb to mux the srt subtitle on a mp4 video file, it ended up successfully, then i used mplayer to play it, the subtitle didn't appear, please tell me how to show the subtitle correctly.

in any case, you need to set mplayer to display subs.

mplayer doesnt support timed text in mp4

use videolan or mpc or vsfilter in any dshow player

actually, i want to play it on ipod, but i think it is impossible now.

you need to hard sub your file, i.e. make the sub in the video directly.

since it's iPod, that goes to "Hardware player" ;) lol
