I have a DVD that have a few bad sectors, I'm using Alcohol 120% to copy it, but Alcohol skips the bad sectors really slowly. It's almost 15 hrs and it only has 23% done. Is there another burning program that can skip those errors faster? Cause later sections of the disc is fine, only some sections are bad. (This is a homemade DVD, so it doesn't have any copy protections) Thanks.

Hi!
You can use DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 (In "File" mode, set to "ALL files, NOT just "movie files") changed to the following settings under Tools>>Settings>>I/O:
Set "Software read error retries" to -0-
Set "Software write error retries" to -0-
Put a checkmark next to "Ignore read errors"
(Remember to change these back to your default settings when you're finished)

Looks like a copy protection with bad sectors.
Use DVDFab Decrypter.

Yeah, it's a DVD a friend burned me, the media he used was crap, it doesn't even play correctly. But now except the last 2 chapters, everything plays fine. Thanks for the help.

Begs the question...is it copyrighted content or a home made DVD? Till you clear this up awdriter, you'll probably get no further assistance.

It's a homemade DVD, it doesn't have copy protection. THe bad sections are caused by poor burning or poor media (or both). Anyways, I don't need any further assistance now, recovering the first 4 chapters are more than I've hoped for. So thanks for the help. If mods want to lock this, please go ahead.
