AC3 Avi to DVD keeping AC3 Audio?!?

Hi hope you guys be able to help,

Im trying to convert my AC3 avi movies and burn to dvd, but can only seem to end up with 2 channel pcm audio? Ive tried different programs, scoured the internet and i cant find a solution.

Is thier an easy way, or isit spend a week fiddlin about at which point you realise your not that desperate to watch film in surround lol

There are a number of conversion solutions that allow this, e.g. the one I wrote, or DVD2SVCD.

This is an earlier version I posted a while back, as nobody used it I just stuck to posting it in the (private) place where I had made it available in the past.

It requires soft encode and cce trial, so that limits the user interest for a start.
