I'm using DVD-5s and after running a movie through Decrypter and Shrink
I send it onto nero recode 2. The full recommended capacity of one of these DVD-5s is 4.38 gig and say that the movie I want to burn is 3.2 gig. When nero is finished with it, there an unburnt area left on the disc. I have a mini dvd recorder camera that when recording is finished and the contents doesn't fill the capacity of the disc, there's a finalizing function that will completely finish burning the disc all the way out. This is what I'm looking for in nero. Maybe I've missed something in nero, but I looked every where within that software, including hidden, system files and even the registry. I found nothing to entice nero to burn my dvds all the out! Does any one have any suggestions that could help me here? I have used search... maybe I'm using the wrong keyword... I was using "finalizing".

Thank you...

recorder -> disc info

if the session is unfinished it will have a dropdown and a button there to finalize discs. With InCD you can use the trayicon also.

videomixer9... Thank you for your response...

A little confusion has set in here... in your post [recorder -> disc info]

I'm not sure to look for this in recode or in the toolkit... I've search them both and found nothing pertaining to what you posted... I don't have INCD installed.

@mac53

Hi!

Once you've used NERO in "DVD-Video" mode to burn a DVD (either +R or -R), it is permanently closed to any further burning...

could he not use DVd Decrypter - tools>close>disc function?

I would suggest using shrink to burn you files with nero or create iso and use Dvd decrypter.

... and use Dvd decrypter.It is better to use ImgBurn! Same engine, but it supports more drives.
