hi

here's my problem

i have a dvd with no french subs on it
i want to add french subs so i dom, load the french srt file that was made from i guess other subs from the same movie.
my problem is that i always have a desynch a the end of the movie, subs are in advance when they are ok at the beginning.
so the delay goes incrising as the movie plays.
the movies i'm using are ntsc, 29.97 fps but i guess the subs are made from subs also coming from ntsc.
so what could be the problem ?

also i would like to know if there is a program that let me see the video file from my dvd (vob) and display subs so i can synch them, i tried with subtitle workshop but when it open the vob it display a wrong movie length so the subs are not synch...

thx

Like a wrote when you asked the same in the Authoring section, I think that SubtitleCreator's "DVD synchronize" feature would do the job for you.

In v1.9.2 you can display the extra DVD synchronization menu by enabling it in the Settings menu. So, load the text subtitles and the DVD in SC, and use the synchronization feature as described in the user manual (set a start and end point, and hit Sync! See the quoted text in my post in your other thread)
