I have about 15 video elements and my current scene in scenarist is setup with a single PGC and VTS with all the 16:9 videos linked off the VTS_1. I also have some videos that are 4:3. I've read about dummy PCG's however you create these and would like some advice on this. Note that I will need to have the menus under VTS_1 to be able to link to movies in I guess VTS_2. Any visual samples or explanations on how to set this up would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

you can create a dummy pgc with a still asset (use a black 720x576 jpg or bmp). scenarist will make that a still, which you can drop into the track editor to be a track. then you can put the track onto the VideoManager Folder (you must create a language folder first by right clicking on the Videomanager folder). you can use the pre commands to jump to a title in system space. so when a user clicks a menu button.. the cell command will jump to the menu pgc (the dummy one you just made) and then that will jump to any title you choose in any VTS.
a different way that doesnt involve dummys ... http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=62789&highlight=first+play+dummy

Thanks for the reply. So I have created my menues for the 16:9 videos. I also have let's say 9 4:3 videos. I have menus under VTS_1 (16:9) that need to point to the 4:3 videos. Do I create one dummy PGC for each of these videos and point the menu items under VTS_1 to each of the associated video dummy PCG's? I assume if that's the case that I need to set a pre-command on each dummy PGC to point to the appropriate title that the video is in?
Thanks.
