hi

i'm demuxing a dvd vob so i can after that add subs with ifoedit.
the problem i have is that i demux the video so i have a m2v file that if i open it with a player is seen as a 1h04' movie instead of 3h07' how come ?
how can i do to fix this ?

what program did you use to demux the .vob with?

personally i would use pgc_demux by jsoto (use the search to find the appropriate threads)

what are you reading the length of the .m2v in?
have you tried importing it into an authoring app?

most software players will report incorrect times for .m2v files ...

what kind of soft will tell me the right length ? You could make a project with DGIndex (Honor Pulldown Flags) and then serve it into VirtualDub. Then use the File Information dialog to get the time.
