Hi.

I have a lot of xvid, mainly with AC3/DTS but also mp3 Audio. Together with the movie I also store subs, mainly IDX/SUB.

My question is: Can I use YAMB for the whole extractingprocess?(exept for converting subs to .srt). When I extract audio...what do I get?

I would like to encode the audio to AAC, and recode video to AVC and then put it all in a new .mp4 with the subs. Have anyone done this? Easiest method?
I've tried to directly recode with Nero recode, but the result is not very good, a small jerks occurs, especially in fast moving or panoramic scenes.

no, you can't.

Easiest....maybe mp3 to aac with BeLight. And to recode your video stream, have a look at meGUI.

When extracting a AC3 or DTS stream from an avi with YAMB...it is a raw AC3 or a raw DTS I get or what do x_audio.raw mean?

just rename the .raw extension to .ac3 or .dts. see what happens

Use VirtualdubMOD to extract AC3/DTS from AVI instead of YAMB.
