I have been trying to add subtitles to a movie I encoded and for the life of me I cannot get the subtitles to show up when I play the video. Subtitles are in srt format ripped straight from the vob files using Subrip beta 1.30. I have muxed them in virtualdubmod several times into and mkv container but they will not show up in zoom player. They appear to be physically there but just don't show up. If anyone has any tips I would be greatful because this is extremely aggrevating.

Try using Media Player Classic (http://www.divxland.org/software.php) instead.

I'll try but I doubt that's it. I always use zoomplayer with all my mkv, ogm, avi files that have multiple streams and it always works.

I suggested you MPC because it has its own MKV support, I suppose you are using the Matroska Splitter currently.
