I'm building a PC and don;t want to load any commercial DVD player SW on it. Is there a DVD player codec I can load that will allow WMP10 to play DVD's?

TIA

I can remember there were FhG filters on doom9 download page...
Now it's gone though for some reason :| Anyways, here they are (http://www.ihud.com/file.php?file=300106/1138626261/freedvd.zip)

well decoding mpeg-2 video and ac3 audio from inside a .mpg (aka .vob) is easy and obviously possible in free players

the thing is a dvd is more than just that. so do these filters support all the menu stuff aso?
