Hi

what is the fastest way to do this:

demux mp3 from avi (directstream), then adjust volume of mp3, mux and sync audio with video again.

right now I use virtualdubmod to extract audio, but it takes a lot of time to demux if using the directstream copy option. much faster with fullprocessing ?!?
doesn't make much sense to me

the external programm for volume adjusting is fine.

but when it comes to multiplexing I often get out-of-sync files.
is there a faster way to sync a video than to use the "delay audio track" option??? cause it rewrites the entire file. that takes serveal minutes and you have to do it a few times to get it really sync ??

Instead of extracting the audio, you can adjust the volume directly with VirtualDub as explained here (http://www.divxland.org/video_edition.php#8). Good luck.

I decided to trash VirtualDub, cause it didn't work for me.

Instead I'm now using Avidemux which is way superior for my purpose.

This programm can mux/demux REALLY fast, and it just works.

It's still far from "final" but I like it.

I decided to trash VirtualDub, cause it didn't work for me.Using VirtualDub or VirtualDubMOD has to be quicker than using AVIDemux, since using either VirtualDub program doesn't require demuxing and remuxing. You must be doing something wrong.

1) Load your .AVI into VirtualDubMOD

2) Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy"

3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, click on "Streams list", select "Full Processing Mode" - and click on "Volume". Adjust the percentage of volume increase and save with a new filename
