edit menu button text - how to?

Hi,
On the face of it I expected this to be straightforward!

All I want to do is edit the text that is held in a chapter button in a menu because it has been entered with an incorrect description.

Simple as that.....................only it doesnt seem to be.

All the programs I haver tried or been told to try involve altering navigation structures, making and importing new menus, etc, etc, etc.

I just simply want to change the chapter name that was typed in when the dvd was created.

The problem is menus are graphical, so in order to change anything you need to create a new image. See this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=99306) for a guide to replacing the background image.
