Problem with WMP 6.4 / 10 and AC3 audio

I have stereo speakers, and the AC3 filter installed which works great with MPC, but for some reason WMP only plays the rear channels, this means I hear almost no voices at all.

How the heck do I force this dumb WMP to use the AC3 filter instead of messing up like this? Thanks in advance.

Check your settings for the AC3Filter (Select "AC3Filter configuration"). Under the "System" tab, it should be set "Prefer AC3Filter" (not an exact quote)

Thanks... I finally fixed all by removing some filters manually from the system32 directory and installing the AC3 filter 0.70b.
