Hello. I am really new to this & am having major problems. I am trying to do ARccOS dvd's & having a lot of problems. I have downloaded the Pgc Edit v. 0.6.2 to help but cannot get the plug ins to the main menu. I have them on my p.c. but cannot transfer them. What am I doing wrong?
Every time I try to do a dvd lately, it says I don't have enough space. I have shrunk & decrypted & am still lost. I have read all the Dummies guides & am still having troubles. lol!
So, what do I do now? How do I get the plug ins on my Pgc Edit?
Can you teach an old Grandma new tricks?
Thanks!

Every time I try to do a dvd lately, it says I don't have enough space. If the message is stating that you don't have enough space on your hard drive, empty your Recycle Bin (and if you have Norton installed, empty the Norton recycle bin as well) and, if necessary, empty your Temp folder...

Thank you for your reply. Uh...Norton has a recycle bin? Where is that at? I looked & didn't see one.
I am really lost in cyberspace.
Any ideas about the plug ins? Is there anything else besides PgcEdit to do the ARccOS ? I finally got the hang of dvd shrink & decrypt & am now way in over my head.
Thank you for any further help!

You would right-click the Recycle Bin and select "Shred Recycle Bin."
Why not stick with DVD Decrypter? Do a Google search for your title along with "arccos psl2" and you can rip any title.
Check your hard drive space as well, making sure you do in fact have room for the ripped disk.

Is there anything else besides PgcEdit to do the ARccOS ?DVD95Copy (commercial software) for one, AnyDVD (commercial software) for another, DVDFab Decrypter (freeware) for yet another, will handle most, if not all, ARccOS and RipGuard copy protected DVDs...

How to backup ARccOS DVDs (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=56831). Tells you all about the PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) plugin. The wizard mode makes it a breeze.

... Every time I try to do a dvd lately, it says I don't have enough space.
How much disk space do you have left?
Go to Start > My Computer > View menu > Details, and out beside "Hard Disk Drives", you should see a column for Total Size and Free Space. Free Space is the amount that you have remaining on your hard drive.

Newproblem with ARcoOs? Or is this a new version of the same problem? Here is what is happening to me now:
I have decrypted & then tried to shrink. I have about 17% done & get a cyclic redundancy error. Ok. I checked the disc, cleaned it & used a CD Scratch fixer. So, the problem is not a scratch or being dirty.
I have tried to follow the instructions to decrypt in File mode & when I try to shrink, it shows the same error. What am I doing wrong?
Should I try the dvd95copy? Will this solve my latest dilema?
Thanks for any help you can share.

What is the Title and Region of your original, purchased DVD?

Flightplan & region 1. Somehow I did manage to get it to burn. lol! I used my Sonic & files fromthe h.d. (Still couldn't get it to shrink). But...what do I do next time? There has to be a better way than spending hours being so lost!

Should I try the dvd95copy? Will this solve my latest dilema?... But...what do I do next time? There has to be a better way than spending hours being so lost!Although there are several multi-part freeware solutions available, I've personally had continuing success using DVD95Copy (a commercial program) - and using it certainly doesn't involve "spending hours being so lost!" because it's fully automated...

Thank you for the advice! I will try it out. There just has to be a better way of doing things (easier & faster) than what I have been trying.
Would this be an ARcoOS problem again? Or is it something I am doing wrong?

If I remember correctly, "Flight Plan" has "RipGuard" copy protection...
