Which SW should i use to cut wmv without recompression?
Which SW should i use to cut mpeg1/2 without recompression? VDubMod cant save mpeg1/2 streams, he can only recompress it to another format eg. XviD

Hi!Which SW should i use to cut mpeg1/2 without recompression?One possibility is to use TMPGEnc as follows:

TMPGEnc>>File>>MPEGTools>>Merge & Cut

ASFTools will cut WMV and it's free. It's not very good but it gets the job done.

any other?Have you tried the ones we've suggested? If they work (and they should), why would you need any others?

If you've had a problem with either or both suggested programs, it would be good if you'd state what difficulties you've encountered...

tmpeg works, asftools too, but im used to use vdub

Use VirtualDubMPEG2.

i tried VirtualDubMPEG2-but sometimes it doesnot cut properly:
1.
shift + -> jumps to next keyframe
shift + <- jumps to previous keyframe
when pressed
shift + ->
and
shift + <-
im not at the same place i started

2. sometimes vdubmpeg2 caused desynch sound/video problems
