@bond

Does DVDLab (Pro or otherwise) accept .AVIs (VirtualDub MOD's output) as input?

I asked because "knave0" asked for and a video format compatiable with DVD-Lab pro.I believe that he/she would have to convert the video to some MPEG format...

another question i get a error saying
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format XVID (unknown). VirtualDub requiers a Video for Windows VFW compatiable codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as thoes used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable. Only direct stream copy is avaliable for this video.

dose this mean i need a XVID codec and whats a VFW?

Thanks

EDIT-turns out i didnt have a xvid codec installed.

Now i have managed to convert my ogm to AVI without sound and ogg. Yay. Is there any way to convert them now to any of these formats mpv, m2v, mpa, m2a, ac3, dts, wav, aiff? as DVD lab dosent accept AVI or Ogg as input.

Thanks

sure you can...

avi: just use a mpeg2 encoder to convert it to mpv or m2v
ogg: just decode it to wav

Now i need some help with the subtitles. Dose anyone know what format DVD lab supports and how to change .srt or .sfv to a useable format?

Thanks
