hi out there,
is there any known way how i could author an audio-dvd on which the audience can choose their playlist order themselves?

example (how i would like it to work): there are 38 tracks on the dvd. within a submenu i can choose between all of them... and finally i press 'play' and listen to them in the way i've chosen them (5, 18, 7, 10, 2, 4, 25, etc.).

it is not about randomly playing those titles/tracks...

thanks in advance for any helpful answer!

sincerely,
snobs

ps: used software is scenarist/sonic solution.

This thread should be useful but I don't know how far you can take it with 38 tracks without having to use a lot of complicated maths.

hmmm... very interesting thread. thank you for pointing that out to me... i wasn't able to find anything suitable with the forum search. well i must have used wrong search words.

i have to admit i never really scripted dvds, nor did i use scenarist heavily. but i will give it a try and think on how i could use the 256bit to save playback order, and how many tracks would be appropriate.

damn if it doesn't work (or i don't get it working), a really good project/job would flow through my fingers =/

ps: 38 was just an example, i was asked for more than that.........
