Hello,
does anybody know if ATI mobile radeon 9000 is capable for capturing VHS video from its composite video input?

The graphic card has a video output that I ussually use to connect my notebook Toshiba Tecra with my VHS video recorder and it works without any problem.

I have already read the video capture manual on this web site I have downaled and instaled a WDM driver version 5-13_xp-2k_wdm_29124 from ATI support site and the driver works properly according to XP system. I installed the program Virtual VCR but when I try to start capturing video the program responses with an error "Sorry, you have no video capture hardware" and my capturing device Panasonic VHS camcoder is playing back. After that I went through ATI support site to find some similar problem and then upgraded my XP system with SP2 and still nothing has changed.

Pls. could someone help me what else should I do?

Thanks

ATI does not provide direct technical support for laptops/notebooks at this current time (telephone or email). If you require direct technical support please contact the system manufacturer of your laptop/notebook.

So, Mobility radeon 9000 isn't capable for capturing :(
