File Seek Bar Problem

When I'm playing these so called "corrupted" video files, the seek bar that lets you navigate to different portions of the video is only about 6 seconds long, but the video plays for more than 6 seconds.

What could be wrong? Is there a way to rebuild files or why is the pc not reading the video files correctly?

the videos were extracted from a dvd.

Not only are you asking for help on issues that are out of bounds as defined by Forum Rules, as well as other documents I've pointed to you, you can't open a new thread and post from an alternate reality. Please cease and desist.

Re-read the Rules and become more familiar with such.
