I was wondering if it's a good idea to update the DBD-RB Pro software to use the new LightingUK's software, imgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/).
It kicks so far, no more burning issues like I used to have with DVD Decrypter.

I didn't even know about this. DVD Decrypter is my #1 burning program and it's great to see that code won't be going to waste. The queuing feature is great for people like me who often wait until I have a dozen images to burn (and no free space) before I go on a marathon burning session.
Of course because of that I have almost no knowledge of how RB's burning functionality works and so I don't know if imbBurn should or could be used.

ImgBurn is used as default over DVD Decrypter if its installed. Works fine on my machine!

As Rendez2k mentioned, Rebuilder will look at the registry and if you have ImgBurn installed it will use it for burning -- if it isn't there it will use Decrypter. Based upon my experience to date I highly recommend ImgBurn.

How do you burn DVD Rebuilder files with ImgBurn? I thought ImgBurn would only burn .iso files not Video_TS folders.
I'm fairly new to DVD Rebuilder and I always have the output path as a folder on my hard drive, I didn't know that you could even burn through DVD Rebuilder. Could someone please help explain how to do this? I'm using the freeware 0.96 version of Rebuilder and the 1.1 version of ImgBurn.

DVD-Rebuilder has an option for creating ISO image files after it's created the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files/folders. This may only be in the paid version though...

That's too bad. I wish I could try some of these features out before buying. I know you can read off of a feature list, but it's hard to remember the differences or understand exactly what they do until you have a chance to try them out for yourself.

For a more detail view on the differences take a look here (http://www.jdobbs.com/Pages/DVDRebuilder/DVD-RB_Adv.htm).

Having the program automatically build an ISO image is hardly a deal-breaker... Things like the blanking out extras or making them into slideshows or movie-only mode are certainly nice though.
