This is pretty the tenth time I wonder about a ridiculus compression ratio at 11% and very bery low reported bitrates....

I make the same stupid mistake everytime....

Demultiplexing material in the source directory......

DVD-RB seems to get messed up by this, as it seems not to look at the counted sectors processed, but is making size decsion based on the total source directory size....

I knew this one, but now I was in total panic again....

Is it possible to let DVD-RB regarding only real DVD-stuff in the directory ???

So processing it by structure and not bij total source map size ????

I left an demuxed MPEG stream of using DVD-LAB-PRO in it, and got weird size calculations, like 11% compression ratio, and stange bitrate about 800....

Also some DVD's have dummy VOBS at the end, making source map size bigger then is needed, yielding wrong specifications in size and bitrate.

Maybe I am hallucinating here, but files in the source dir, can mess up the calculations made......

Especially if they are not part of the essential DVD stuff...

Suggest an improvement ?????

thanx

???? Of course it will mess it up. The solution is easy enough -- don't put anything that isn't "source" in the "source directory". :D
