Strange audio video sync problems

Not sure whether anyone else has had this same problem. I created a svcd with this awesome program and everything seems fine. I played it on my eclipse dvd player and things are looking very nice indeed. Anyway, as the film continues, the audio slightly gets further and further out of snyc with the video. When I put in the next disc, the sync is fine until say the last half of the film again and then the sync problem returns. The next day, I tried forwarding the film to the parts which were affected by the synch problem and there was no problem! I was wondering whether anyone has experienced this? Maybe its the quality of my cds or my dvd player, or maybe the speed which I burn the cd? Any ideas?

I am wondering if the "Movie Offset Seconds" could help us by setting it to 5 instead of 2, but this question I have asked elsewhere ;)..

Without a log file we cannot know what happened. Post it using cut and paste.
Also if you used an external ripper to rip the DVD don't do anything until to re-rip and redo the SVCD using one of the two included rippers. This very problem and solution is in the Q+A.

Since the same happens with every CD of _one_ encode, it seems to be player issue. Try to play your SVCDs in another standalone player, or in a software DVD player to be sure.
