I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section, but I wasn't sure where to post it since I am such a n00bie, so I posted it here. Feel free to move it to a more properate section.

Now, on to my issue...

I've got a TERRATEC TV CINERGY 400 tv-card. However, when I try to run the TerraTec application, I get 2 error messages:

1st error message (http://www.elgen.net/error01.gif)
2nd error message (http://www.elgen.net/error02.gif)

What does this mean and HOW do I fix this so I can run the application properly? Any ideas anyone?

PS: I've got DirectX 9.0b installed already. If that means anything...

Thankies in advance.

Hmm, you could try and download DX9c and newer drivers for that card.
Not sure if that would fix it though.

I agree. First port of call should be to uninstall the drivers for your card and reinstall.

Search the products site for any upgrades that may be present.

I see. Well, I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to help. However, when I switched the card to another PCI slot, it worked fine... How's that possible?

Another thing... when I inserted the card to another slot, it made my PC work slowly... especially when I watch movies... The sound is a bit scratchy and the picture sometimes freezes. The same goes when I am listening to music. The sound is mostly scratchy and all. I've tried updating sound drivers as well as graphic drivers. No luck. Any ideas..? Should perhaps open up a new topic for this then...
