Hi,
I dont know where should I put my post exactly because it envolves many programs.
I am trying to filter some DV material captured from noisy VHS's as the following schema:
original DV ---(YUY2)-> AviSynth (Convolution3d & FFT3D) ---(YUY2)-> VitrualDub 1.6.11 (MainConcept DV Encoder) ---(???)-> final DV
What I am missing is: should I set in VDub>Video Color Depth>Output Format Compressor TO [same as decompression format] or should I leave it at the default [24bit RGB(888)] ?:confused:
the compressor does not mind at all if its input is set to RGB or YUY2.
other thing regarding DV codec settings, should I check those settings in the decoder and encoder of MainConcept(as my original material is VHS):
RGB 16...235
Clamb YUV to ITU601r
any help is greatly appreciated, I encoded few clips and lately found that I was feeding the compressor with RGB.
Thanks :)
