Brutal method:
Copy - paste the file somewhere else.
Then Necrofile (http://www.necrocosm.com/nfinfo.html) it.. :D

Hi!

Silly question perhaps, but have you tried rebooting your system?

i cant cut, paste, delete or rename this file so i cant move it
But you can COPY it somewhere else..
When you've copied, use Necrofile to PERMANENTLY delete the original file from the disc, then reboot (there're a lot of similar progs, this is the one I used).
Simply select the file and delete it. (Install the trial, works better).

Try to create a new textfile next to it, select both files and delete it together. Sometimes that works (itīs no fun, itīs true!).

Try using Zap! Download it here: http://helpdesk.kixtart.org/KixUtilsTasks.asp
Here's a quick runtrhough if you're new to command line programs:

1) Put zap.exe in the same folder as the file you want to delete.
2) Go start -> run -> and type "cmd" press enter
3) At the dos prompt type "CD" followed by the folder path the file is in (put in quotes) e.g.
cd "C:\Documents and Settings\king22491\Videos\"
4) Then type "Zap <file here>" and press enter

Note: it might take a reboot before the file is properly deleted from teh drive.
